Information is collected from a wide variety of customers from different points on our site. We collect information regarding your bidding, buying and selling of any and all products should you chose to pursue and engage in this site.

This information will then only be shared to recognized partners in certain cases, such as charging you for selling and in those auctions where services of shipping, delivery or fulfillment companies that are offered to our users, only when those certain services are requested. In order to use this site you must first complete the registration form.

We hereby collect statistical information about you the client from this page.
Every page, image or CGI program will be requested by your browser from our servers are logged into a log file, which in turn collects the following information:

SHARING
If you successfully win an Auction, then your name, email address, phone number and fax number, payment details including credit card information and mailing address may be passed onto the other party involved in that Auction in accordance with the Terms and Conditions of Use of this Site. For example, if you bid on an Auction and win the Auction, your details will be passed onto the Seller of that item for auction.
We will hereby only share aggregated demographic information within our business and\or business partners and advertisers. When done, you will not be personally identifiable, and your personal information will only be used as a part of an aggregated compilation of information.
We will be releasing information about you, the client, to the respective seller of said item in the following circumstances:

– The release of such information is reasonably necessary and appropriate to enforce or apply the Terms and Conditions of Use of This Site;
– The release of such information is reasonably necessary and appropriate to protect the rights, property or safety of Customized Auctions, our users and others; and
– Access to such information is not refused on any of the grounds for refusal set out in Chapter 4 of Part 3 of the Promotion of Access to Information Act.
Upon a formal request by the seller, for access to your information for any legally permitted reason, we undertake to notify you of such request (via email) and should you fail to respond to such communication within 7 days of the delivery thereof, your information will be released to the said party.

You, the client, then also state that with this disclosure, we are under no circumstance be liable to you or any other individual for any loses, damages, expenses and or any other amounts incurred, savings foregone, or any hardships suffered, by any person however arising, including where causes cannot be determined, through the release of this statement regarding your personal information, in the event of any scenarios as detailed listed above.

ANTI-SPAM POLICY
We at Customized Auctions are committed to permission based email marketing practices, as well as an established no-tolerance Anti-spam Policy. If the need arises for Customized Auctions to update this policy a notice of change will then be provided on its homepage.
Spams are commercial emails or unsolicited bulk email, including junk mail, which has not been requested by the receptionist. Spam is the opposite of permission based email.
If you believe that you have received Spam connected to Customized Auctions in any way, send a complaint including the unsolicited email, to support@customizedauctions.co.za You may also provide any other information that you believe may help a Customized Auctions investigation. Customized Auctions does not investigate or take any action based on anonymous Spam complaints.
